Pomona cafe. Preston.

I had planned to take a friend to check out Pomona, in Preston. Partly because it looked pretty and partly because they have a focus on gluten free food. And although my friend had to cancel our lunch date I decided to go and check it out anyway. 

I'm a little bit excited about the shiny new things Preston has to offer and Pomona is certainly one of them. 

I sat in the sunny back room. To my delight they made delicious chai (made from tea - brewed like a latte) and the staff were super down to earth, non-pretentious and chatty. 

I give this one two thumbs up.

Over the ditch!

Although this is a 'Gosh I love Melbourne' blog, I've decided to begin in my other favourite city, Auckland. I'm staying with my family for the week and enjoying all the little joys that come with family, good food and the comforts of being home. 

Here are some of the things I love about coming back.

Cuddling little ones. 

Vintage shopping. Melbourne has lane ways, Auckland has arcades. 

Sushi, sushi and more sushi! Auckland does fantastic sushi. 

 Escaping on the ferry. Possibly my favourite one of all.
